Dean's Car Check is a UK vehicle history service. You enter a registration and get a vehicle history report built from official and licensed vehicle records. The free check is free, with no card. Paid reports are bought one at a time or in packs.
We report official and licensed vehicle records, nobody visits the car. It is a records check, not a mechanical inspection, and it is not a valuation: no report values a car. Where a record is unavailable, the report says so rather than showing a reassuring tick.
Built and run by Ben White, Dean's son, a former master technician who now runs Ben White AI (opens in a new tab). The service is named after his dad, Dean, who spent his working life buying and selling cars. There is more about both on the About page.
Dean's Car Check is a trading name of Ricki Robin Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
You pay once per report. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews. Prices include VAT and are shown in pounds sterling. The prices below are read live, so this page and the Pricing page cannot disagree; the price you see on the order page before you pay is the price charged. Reports can also be bought in multi-report packs, which cost less per report.
